Analog artistry for exceptional occasions
I am born artist and honed my skills and passion in school, studying photography, fine arts, and design. Documenting weddings, elopements, couples, and families is an extension of my own creative practice, and I take the utmost pride in transforming the beauty of your celebrations into art which immortalizes it.
I believe the most magical and beautiful moments arise naturally from the nuances and singularity of each couple and celebration. I shoot with an unobtrusive presence to capture these authentic moments as they arise. The art of your love should not have to conform to shot lists or convention. As an LGBTQ+ photographer, I am especially sensitive to ways the wedding industry may feel exclusive and strive make all couples feel welcome and excited to celebrate their love.
As a lover of all things analog and a skeptic at best of the computer, I honor the physicality that has always been part of photography. I prefer film and deliver both digitally and physically to preserve the tradition and experience of flipping through your wedding album.
When we work together on stationery as well, I create a fully cohesive visual world, from invitation to album. The intimate knowledge of your story and aesthetic that I gain as your photographer is reflected in your paper and its harmony with your photographs.
My photos and artwork have been displayed in galleries across the US. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm in the pottery studio.
I'm from Burlington, Vermont and spend most of my time there, in New York City, or in the Berkshires. I'm available for travel worldwide.
